Meet the Teacher

Hello, I'm Suzanne – a professional watercolour artist and art tutor with a passion for inspiring creativity in both children and adults. I hold a postgraduate degree in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts, Canterbury, and have been recognised for my expertise and achievements in the field.

For the past few years, I have been running workshops and weekly classes for children and adults, and I have been exhibiting and selling my artwork for over ten years. In addition, I teach online and have over 8,000 students on Skillshare. Teaching and encouraging people of all ages to develop a creative practice is at the heart of everything I do.

In my children's classes, I aim to create an engaging, supportive, and enjoyable learning environment where every child has the opportunity to experiment with a variety of fine art media, including drawing, painting, and sculpting.

Through creative exploration, children learn essential artistic techniques while developing confidence, curiosity, and self-expression. I believe that encouraging creative thinking through the exploration of materials, ideas, and techniques, while providing opportunities for creative growth, makes a valuable contribution to a well-rounded education.

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and have extensive experience working with children. My goal is to help every child discover the joy of making art, build confidence in their own creative abilities, and develop a lifelong love of learning through creativity.
